"LifeStyle Spotlite": Forreduci Clothing a United Kingdom based Urban Brand

Forreduci is an independent fashion label that was inspired by three friends who wanted to bring a new dynamic to urban fashion within the UK.

The aim was to get enough critical acclaim within the streets of London to expand as an established brand not just a t-shirt line or gimmick, but to set trends by bringing fresh new designs to the streets of London and beyond, that could be worn with the confidence and pride knowing that it’s a British designer brand. They started retailing exclusively online in 2005, opened first store in south London in October 2009 and started a VIP home shopping service October 2011. From this they were able to have a direct platform to communicate with their customers with the focus of building the brand identity and keeping it real.

The Forreduci brand has expanded international and has been spotted on celebrities like Soulja Boy, BET's 106 & Park Terrence J, and The Game just to name a few.

The Line consist of Tshirts, Sweatshirts,Hoodies, Leather Jackets, Hats, Book Bags and now Footwear.

"Hidden Treasure" NYC Fashion Part I : Trash and Vaudeville

Our last stop for the day was one of my favorite stores located on St. Marks "Trash & Vaudeville". They are actually 2 store. Vaudeville is the store located upstairs and sells some of the hottest gothic and rock and roll inspired clothing. They carry clothing from TRIPP NYC and STOP STARING dresses. They are known for their colorful motorcycle leathers and outrageous printed pants. This is a Rock and Roll Lover dream store. They store is full of bright colors, and the mannequins are dressed very stylish. Trash is the store located on the lower level and they sell mostly footwear. This was the first store that I saw the signature platform Jeffrey Campbell bootie. The stores are a Leatherheads fantasy

"Hidden Treasure" NYC Fashion Part I : APT 141 & No Relation Vintage Store

Hidden Treasures: I will be touring different cities looking for hidden fashion stores, monuments, and anything that I find of importance and would like to share with my readers. As you read in my previous post I started my search in NYC the city where im from. My first store was Beacon Closet located on 13th st. I invited two close friends to join in on the journey. As we worked our way to our next location we spotted another small boutique called Apt141. I became amazed with the clothing that the store sold and its unique setup. There was an African American man outside of the store fixing the garment racks and I started to question him. He stated that he was the owner of the boutique and was one of the last remaining black store owners in the neighborhood. The store sells Ready to Wear women clothing with a Vintage inspiration.

Check out some pics I was able to take:

For more info on the store check out their website www.apt141.com

Our next stop was the Vintage store called No Relation located on 1st ave bet 13th and 12th st. This Vintage store had some really great pieces from shearling coats to leather motorcyle jackets to Sequin dresses. This I would say is a one stop shop where you are bound to find a one of a kind pieces.

Check out some of what we found:

Make sure you tune back in for more footage from my "Hidden Treasures" Tour.
